As part of the UNI HEALTH project (Agreement No. KA 220-HED-47/05-10-2023), training sessions were organized and held during the semester for students participating in the project, aimed at developing personal stress management skills. The work is being carried out by educational psychologists from the UNI HEALTH team, Lyudmila Ibrishim and Stella Kucheryanu. The main idea of the psychological block is that a healthy lifestyle should be based on an understanding of the importance and usefulness of various health-promoting activities. In psychological science, it is currently undisputed that modern life is subject to a large number of micro-stresses that have a detrimental effect on the organization of life and, as a result, on the efficiency of the human body (metabolic processes, cardiovascular system, etc.). In this regard, the idea behind stress management training was to provide a brief theoretical explanation of the nature of stress, discuss stressful situations typical for young people, and work in more detail on the characteristics of stress responses.
