The first transnational project meeting was held in Bulgaria on 25-26.01.2024. At this meeting, the goal and target groups to which the project is directed were presented.

The First Step
The project partnership meeting marked the first steps towards developing joint education programmes in health and sports culture, planning pilot trainings and summer schools, and building an inter-institutional network of stakeholders.
The aim of the event was to justify and motivate the project, to outline innovative approaches and expected results.
The project UNI HEALTH – Academic partnership for health improvement of youth with health disorders and special needs – is aimed at realization of cooperative work on integration of youth with special needs and other health problems aged 17-25 years to a healthy lifestyle with the aim of establishing health improvement groups in general education institutions.
Project objectives:
- Increasing the level of physical education of young people with special needs and health problems
- Development and organization of special training, health improvement program for youth with special needs
- Development of an educational and methodological manual to improve the level of physical health of students with special needs through special physical education
